Scottish Trip Reports

These pages describe some of the trips to natural caves in Scotland undertaken by members of the group.

Although there is a limited amount of limestone in Scotland and the bed thickness limits the size of the caves the area should not be dismissed. There are some quite distinctive caves, especially on Skye where the limestone is intersected with other rocks which leads to interesting formations.
